RFID Tag

Follow

This article contains instructions for programming an RFID Tag with the GSM system.

NOTE: If you purchased the RFID tag as part of a kit, then it has been pre-programmed to the main panel already, and no other programming is needed. Follow these steps below if you have purchased an RFID tag separately, and are now adding it to an existing system.

Adding an RFID Tag to the Wireless RFID Keypad:

  1. While your system is disarmed, type in the password to your RFID Keypad (by default this is 1 2 3 4 5 6) and press "Enter." The "Set" light will come on.
  2. type in 2, 0, 1, and press "Enter." You will see the "Send" light come on.
  3. While both the "Send" and "Set" light are lit, move the RFID Tag you wish to add near the keypad until you see the "Send" light flash and beep.
  4. You can add as many Tags as you desire while the "Set" light remains lit. Press the "Chime" key to exit programming.
  5. Pass your Tag in front of the keypad to test. You should see the "Open" light come on and the "Send" light will flash, along with a beep.

Removing all RFID Tags from the Wireless RFID Keypad:

Note: Performing these steps will remove all of the RFID Tags from the RFID Keypad's memory. Each Tag would then need to be added individually again.

  1. While your system is disarmed, type in the password to your RFID Keypad (by default this is 1 2 3 4 5 6) and press "Enter." The "Set" light will come on.
  2. type in 2, 1, 1, and press "Enter." You will see the "Send" light come on.
  3. While both the "Send" and "Set" light are lit, move the RFID Tag you wish to add near the keypad until you see the "Send" light flash and beep.
  4. You can add as many Tags as you desire while the "Set" light remains lit. Press the "Chime" key to exit programming.
